Guide to choosing optical modules for temperature conditions
Optical modules (sfp) are divided into the following categories according to the type of environment used and the type of weather.
Commercial Temperature Range (COM): 0 to 70°C (32 to 158°F)
Extended Temperature Range (EXT): -5 to 85°C (23 to 185°F)
Industrial Temperature Range (IND): -40 to 85°C (-40 to 185°F)
Storage temperature range: -40 to 85°C (-40 to 185°F)
Everiont SFP modules typically consume up to 1 W, with the exception of the Compact SFP (GLC-BX-D) which consumes a maximum of 1.5 W.
Table 3 shows the temperature range and DOM support information for SFPs.
