Product introduction
The SFP-10G-BX-40km optical module is a 3.3V Small-Factor optical fiber module. This system is designed for high-speed fiber optic communication network that requires data transfer speed up to 11.1 Gbps. with SFF-8472 and SFP+ MSA It is compatible and the data link of the module is up to 40 km in 9.125um single-mode fiber. The compatible SFP+ transceiver Cisco SFP-10G-BX40U supports up to 40 km via OS2 SMF via LC simplex connector. This transceiver complies with SFF-8431 and IEEE 802.3ae standards. Digital diagnostic monitoring is available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in the SFF-8472. This low power, high speed 10G SFP+ transceiver is ideal for data center, 10G Ethernet, etc.
